Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EditLabs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

EditLabs is a collaborative video review platform that allows teams to upload videos, collect timestamped feedback, manage versions, and organize projects within workspaces. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers with varying feature limits.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including videos, comments, and other materials ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant EditLabs a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You represent that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to upload the content
  • Your content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Your content does not contain unlawful material

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or other harmful code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Subscription and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the recurring subscription fee. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

7. Free Tier

The free tier is provided with limited features and usage caps. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time. Free tier accounts that remain inactive for 12 months may be subject to data deletion after notice.

8. White-Label Usage

Paid plans may include white-label features allowing you to customize branding. You may not represent the Service as your own product in a way that is misleading to end users. The underlying technology and platform remain the property of EditLabs.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by EditLabs and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use EditLabs trademarks or branding except as enabled through white-label features.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination by contacting support.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
